FVO Qualify for National Club Competition Final

Forth Valley Orienteers qualified comfortably for the CompassSport Trophy final, the UK club competition for "small" orienteering clubs, at the Scottish heat which took place today at South Achray forest, Aberfoyle.

Forth Valley Orienteers have dominated this competition in recent times, winning the overall competition for the last seven years in a row. Although Clydeside orienteers put up a brave fight today at South Achray, they were no match for the overall excellence of the FVO runners who qualified comfortably with a score of 1284.

The final of the competition with take place near Aldershot in November when FVO will be going for an unprecedented eighth win in a row.
