FVO apologise for the late cancellation of this evening's event. We only found out ourselves, when Trevor - our organiser - went there late this afternoon to hang the controls out.
With everything apparently in place (FVO did have written confirmation re our event), Trevor turned up at the School at 3.30 to be met by blank looks when he mentioned our event. Someone did remember us, but the process of confirming permissions within the school had not taken place and other sports events were taking place in the grounds.
So, at about 4.15 we had to cancel. I hope that most people got the e-mail or a phone call (thanks to Dave Coustick for phoning round), and Trevor waited for St Mungo's and others to arrive ... some of whom took the Laigh Hills maps (thanks Beccy for organising so quickly!) and went for a run on there instead.
The QV School do seem keen to host an event sometime, and it is a good place for sprint O.........

Wednesday Evening Events
Wednesday Evening Events run throughout most of the summer, with a small break during the school holidays. They are low key events with courses suitable for all ages and abilities. Events start at 5pm, with the last start at 7pm.

Entry fees are £2.00 for Adults and £1.00 for Juniors.
