Date - Wednesday 13th November
Time - Mass start at 18:30, courses close 20:00.
Venue - Abbey Craig. ( NS 808958 ) Parking in the Monument Visitor Centre car park.
Start - We will jog to the Causewayhead roundabout and along the Alloa Road to start at the SE corner of the area - so if you are late and we have left the Car Park follow us there.
Map - 1:4000 and updated before the 2018 FVO Club Championships. Pre-printed on waterproof paper.
Courses - Long (approx 4km) and Short (approx 3km). Gaffling. TD5 courses.
Entry - Email the organiser by Monday 11th November, 10pm. Include your SI number and say whether you want to run the long or short course. NO CONTACT = NO MAP!
Cost - BOF/SOA members Adults £4 / Juniors/students £3. Non-members £6/£4.
Under 16s – must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Timing - SportIDENT and reflective canes.
Safety - spare torch and whistle are mandatory, and wearing/carrying hooded waterproof jacket is mandatory if deemed necessary by the organiser.
Hazards - There are some very high cliffs at Abbey Craig. Courses have been planned to avoid them, however be careful at all times. Participants may also encounter members of the public, steep slopes, rocky areas and undergrowth.
Participants take part at their own risk!
Note - Car parks are often close to houses and are often used by others, so please park considerately and change discreetly.
Post event food - A table has been booked at Corrieri's, Causewayhead, for 8pm. Please let Gareth know if you would like to eat there after the event, so we can give them an estimate of numbers.
