Local event at Beecraigs West and Witch Craig
Courses to include: Yellow (2km), Orange (2.7km), Green (4km) and Blue (6km)
Start times from 1.30 to 2.30pm
Adults £6 non members, £4 members Juniors £4 non members, £3 members
Final details:
PARKING: Please follow signs to Balvormie car parks. Please park considerately and efficiently as it may be busy if it is good weather.
SAFETY:
All courses:
Public roads and the red mountain bike trail are forbidden routes - they are marked with pink crosses on the map. This means that you are not allowed to run along them but you can cross them with care - watch out for fast bikes going downhill.
Do not approach the lochan - please supervise your children near the water.
There are some medium sized crags, please be careful of the risk of falling off them.
Please avoid approaching dogs, beware and show courtesy to cyclists, horseriders and walkers.
Green and Blue courses only:
There are some very large crags on Witch Craig, please take care. There are many fences and stone walls - please beware barbed wire and loose stones
First aid kit and first aider are available at registration. Venue is within 20 minutes of A&E.
Courses close at 3.30pm - please report to registration/download before you leave the forest.
