Further Information
Restrictions Due to the Covid-19 travel restrictions currently in place, this activity is only open to junior athletes (from anywhere in Scotland) or adults living within five miles of West Lothian or from Tier 1 or Tier 2 areas. SOA guidance on travel applies.
Start times Anytime from 10:00 on 19 Dec to 16:00 on 3 Jan.
Courses Yellow: 1.8m; Orange: 2.3km; Short Green: 3.0km; Green: 4.7km
The courses use the POC markers which are already in place. Controls 11-15 on the Green course have no markers, but are on easily-identifiable line features.
The Mountain Bike tracks (marked with an X overprint) are out of bounds; you may cross the MTB tracks but not run up or down them.
The Green course also crosses the park access road in two places; beware of traffic on the road, particularly in poor visibility or if running at night.
Results This is not an official event but if you record your route with a GPS device and email it as a GPX file to Paul Hammond, we will be able to extract your split times and compile a table of results.
