Further Information

Unfortunately we have had to take the sad decision to postpone the 2020 Harvester Trophy, which was originally scheduled for the weekend of 27th - 28th June, 2020.

Whilst the current guidelines issued by British Orienteering (as of 17th March) only require cancellation of all events for 12 weeks, up to 6th June, the difficulties imposed on planning and organisational activities by this and other HMG guidance to limit the spread of COVID-19, combined with the very real risk of extended and/or increased measures being put into effect in the intervening period, have lead us to decide that the risk of eventual forced cancellation is very high. We've therefore decided to declare our decision now rather than to commit the club to significant expenditure that we might ultimately be unable to recoup.

We very much hope to be able to reschedule the event at a later date, rather than entirely cancel it, but the situation is too fluid at this point to commit to a new date as yet. Equally, even if orienteering does resume after summer, the calendar might be creaking at the seams! Please bear with us and be assured that we will do our best to hold the event if we possibly can.
