Jamie Stevenson had a great run in the Sprints of the Junior European Cup held at St Andrew's on Friday - coming in second in the M18 class against some high class European competition.

The Sprint Race was the first of a full three days of competition for some 150 junior orienteers from all over Europe, with the teams taking part in the Sprints, the Relays and the Long competion (which was held alongside the SOL at Tentsmuir)

Overall, JEC was a great success, with Norway finishing as overall winners. The event was masterminded by Jason Inman, with strong support in depth from FVO members both at the event centre, and by FVO putting on the Relay Race on the Saturday at Faskally which was planned by Fraser and controlled by Trevor.
