The Stirling Sports Awards were held tonight in the Great Hall of Stirling Castle with Olympic Champion Alistair Brownlee presenting the awards.

FVO were nominated in a number of the categories: Clare Stansfield and Lizzie Stansfield for Yoiung Sports Person of the Year, Hazel Dean for Masters Sports Person of the Year and two club nominations for Sports Team of the Year and Performance Club of the Year.

We are delighted to announce that FVO were named as Club Sport Stirling's Sports Team of the Year which was awarded in recognition of our outstanding performances throughout the year. Jon Cross, Club Captain, received the award from Alistair on the Club's behalf.

Doug Wood of FVO was awarded the Masters Sports Person of the Year in recognition of his achievements in Triathlon.
