Grateful cheque recipients

Clackmannanshire Sports Council annually receives a small amount of funding from Clacks Council for distribution to worthwhile projects amongst their members clubs. FVO submitted an application for a 50 percent contribution towards the purchase of some new club kites and compasses, and we were delighted to have that application approved. On the 29th of January, Andy Llewellyn, Will Hensman and Brad Connor attended a ceremony at Clackmannan Bowling Club, where they gratefully accepted a cheque for £250. The committee would like to express their thanks to the Sports Council for their generosity. The new kites and, in particular, compasses, will enhance our ability to deliver more events, and will provide newcomers to the sport with the opportunity to borrow the equipment they need to participate.
