Further Information
FVO Stars is for junior club members age 7-12 years old who would like to learn orienteering skills and achieve their Scottish Orienteering stars awards.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the coaching. We ask you to sign up for a whole block and aim to attend most of the sessions which are progressive. The next block starts on 27th August and lasts until November, with approximately one session per month, often associated with a local club event where you can try out your new skills at a course afterwards. Subsequent dates for this block are 16th September (Falkirk Wheel), 22nd October (Plean near Stirling), 18th November (Hermitage, Stirling), 26 November (Muiravonside, Linlithgow)
Each session is led by a qualified Scottish Orienteering club coach with a ratio of 1 coach to max 8 juniors.
