PARKING

There are a few spaces in front of Kinneil Museum, in the Kinneil woodland car park and on the driveway to the House - please can only those with walking difficulties (young children, injured etc) park here.

You can park on Provost Road, it's quite wide, otherwise side streets off Provost Road or Dean Road.

Please do not park in Deangate Gardens on the junction.

TIMELINE FOR THE DAY

10.30am

Meet in front of Kinneil House, Bo’ness (EH51 OPR). Choice of morning club activities: club runs round Jen’s favourite bits of Bo’ness, historic trail round Kinneil estate, MTB trails. NB - parents are responsible for their children for all these activities.

There will be a sign in/out sheet for these activities, please contact Jen if you are arriving late or don't come back to finish at Kinneil House for some reason by 12pm.

From 12pm - Bo’ness Recreation Centre

Please take off your muddy or spiky shoes before entering the Centre. Remember to bring clean dry trainers for wearing in the Centre.

Free showers available and lunch at Bo’ness Recreation Centre.

Pre-ordered lunches will be available at the cafe in the Bo’ness from 12pm, including cooked ones. You can still order on the day. Pay for your own lunch at the cafe.

2pm

Club AGM in the Studio at Bo’ness Recreation Centre

Juniors - badminton and games in the Games Hall next door to the studio supervised by older club juniors, please make sure you have filled out the google form if your juniors wish to take part in this. Or swimming also available (8yrs+ if unsupervised).

3.30pm - Finish

Safety and risk assessment:

  1. Please do NOT attend if experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, or if they have been in recent contact with a confirmed case.

  2. The club runs will be muddy, trippy, slippy and cross roads/car parks. There are lots of other users in the Woods and the Town, including mountain bikers, dog walkers and horse-riders, please avoid any conflicts. Weather is forecast to be cold, please dress accordingly. Participants responsible for not taking undue risks.

  3. Parents are responsible for their juniors at all times, U16s should be accompanied on the town club runs due to main road crossings.

  4. Be aware of slip risk in the Bo'ness Recreation Centre, wipe any wet shoes.

  5. Please contact the organiser in advance if you have a medical condition that you wish the organiser and first aider to be aware of.
