Compass Sport Cup 2022 - quarantine area

Forth Valley Orienteers will be hosting the final of the 2022 Compass Sport Cup, at Tulliallan and Devilla, in Fife.

Work is now underway to fully re-map the area, which is now back in prime condition after tree-felling operations and storm damage meant it had to be removed from use in 2014.

Under the BOF Rules (version 3.9, dated 01/01/2020, Appendix A) the area marked in grey on the attached map is now under quarantine ahead of the event. Orienteers are allowed within the embargoed areas, but access is not permitted for activities such as reconnaissance of the embargoed areas; testing route choices; use of maps. Restrictions also apply within buildings. • No orienteering of any kind may take place in the embargoed area. • Participation in established running events that pass through embargoed areas is permissible. • No training is permitted within the embargoed areas. Running or cycling regular routes such as access to and from place of work or accommodation is permissible.
