The International Orienteering Federation has designated 24th May as World Orienteering Day, and there are events planned all around the world which will aim to have more than an quarter of a million people take part in orienteering-related activities in a single day.

Forth Valley Orienteers are playing their part, with two events planned for Wednesday evening, one at Linlithgow Loch and another at Laigh Hills, Dunblane

There are events for participants at all levels, from those totally new to the sport, to experienced participants, and free coaching and advice is available at both venues. Come along any time from 5.30pm til 7pm and play your part in setting a new world record.
